9M6S (Sabah) Special Project Callsign to promote Sabah as a tourist destination for fellow HAM Stations in the world sponsored by Borneo Amateur Radio Club (Sabah).

This callsign is valid for 12 months only with effect from 4th July 2003 to 3rd July 2004 and will be use only during project activities for DX Contact in the following locations:

1. Pulau Tiga (Survivor Island) from 4 - 6 July 2003 Pulau Tiga Island was used for the filming of the first Survivor series. It has nice beaches around and has 3 mud volcano. One is available for you to enjoy volcano mud bath - good for your skin.

2. Simpang Mangayau (Date to fix - watch for it) This is the northen most tip of Borneo with beautiful beaches and always with breeze. Being develop as tourism destination for local and foriegners. Other attraction to this area is the famous longhouses of the Rungus community with beautiful handicraft and traditional cloth making.

3. Sandakan (Date to fix - watch for it) Popular destination for watching Orang Utan, Proboscis Mondkey and turtle laying eggs at turtle island

4. Semporna (Date to fix - watch for it) Gateaway to the famous Diving Resort of Sipadan Island

5. Mt. Kinabalu Popular destination for climbing and also to study the diverse ecology of the World Heritage.
