Hi All,
I have a barely used Comet Triplexer (CFX-514) model that I'd like to get rid of. I purchased it new about 3 years ago and used it on an FT-847 for about 2 months. This model has three leads with PL-259 connectors on each lead. I will even throw in an "N" to SO-239 adapter with it. I do not have the original packaging.

Trailer with Pnuematic Antenna Mast/Generator |

Trailer mounted pnuematic mast assembly and diesel generator. This would be an excellent platform to use for a VHF/UHF rover station. The mast stows horizontally across the top of the trailer for travel and is easily erected
when stationary by tilting the lower section and then applying low pressure air to the mast. The mast raises to 20-25 ft. The mast has a top bar with two halogen lights and plenty of space to mount antennas. The trailer has telescoping outriggers and jack feet for stabilisation. The trailer (6'x10' approx.) is a military surplus unit with a 4-5 Kw diesel generator and 12 gal. diesel tank installed. The generator is currently not in service and needs a fuel pump. The trailer needs a good coat of paint. I bought this to make a portable/rover station and my plans have changed. My loss, your gain. I have a Shack 273-1826 universal 12-volt to LapTop power supply. Most any voltage from 9-24, 30 watts. I terminated this in an RCA connector so it would connect to several lap cables.
This works great, I used it on my old Dell Inspiron, but it won't power my later Dell since they snuck in a third "sensing" wire. Thanks Michael!.. So check to see if your lap uses TWO power wires.
This might also be useful as a battery charger for most any voltage.
Includes a manual, which I can send as a PDF for inspection.

These are military ruggedized tubes, pulls from FAA amps or Mil-TX's. I bought them from a ham I knew who told me they were 'good', but I no longer have an amp to test them in. Should be fine.

Excellent for building an amp for HF, 6m or 2m amp, as the 4x150A /7034 version is good to 150+ mhz with 250w plate dissipation, and can be used in multiple tube amps. Similar size as 4cx250B's.

This is the low-power (<50 watts) autotuner they made some years ago, now replaced by the Z-100. I bought it factory-built at Dayton in 2000. It works perfectly. I did the ROM chip upgrade around 2005. The cabinet is fine, with four additional small holes drilled in the sides for a mounting bracket. I used the tuner as recently as Field Day 2009.

A nice pair of radios for mobile or base V/U all-mode work. Work ham sats or SSB, as well as FM simplex & repeaters.
As currently configured, the 851A (430 MHz) has a brand-new vol/sq/on-off switch unit (the one weak part on the rig) I installed myself (I have the packaging and old switch/dual pot parts to verify this) and the PL tone board. The 751A (144 Mhz) has a bad vol/sq/on-off switch unit, but I have sourced another similar unit and have it in an outboard box; needs knobs to go with it. No tone board, but does have the MC-48B DTMF keypad mic. Both radios are in working order (except the stock vol/sq/on-off on the 751A as noted) and have full RF output. Both are cosmetically clean. I have a single original owner's/operator's manual between the pair (they use the same manual to cover both models). Both come with the clamp-type OE mounting brackets that allow easy in/out from the bracket in the field.
I will take $425 plus actual shipping costs for the pair. Otherwise, I'll take $230 ea. plus ship for the radios separately as listed. If you want the 751A (VHF) with the PL board, I'd want $260, and with the tone board AND brand-new vol/sq/on-off control, $275. Prices on the 851A drop accordingly with the loss of those parts ($200 for the 851A w/o the tone board, $215 w/o the new control, $185 without either). I'll include a photocopy of the stock manual for these prices, and the actual manual itself for an extra $7 (if you buy both radios, I'll include just the OE manual w/o a photocopy at no charge, and include a photocopy in addition for another $4).
Not interested in trades at this point, just sale for cash, please! |
