TenTec Omni VI Opt3 with TCXO & 5 Filters |

Much as I hate to do it, it is time to part with one of my Omni 6 Option 3 rigs. I just can’t support four rigs at this time.
This is a beautiful transceiver that works as it should. I know of no issues with it. Details of the configuration of the rig are as follows:

With all 5 filters equipped and a TCXO, this is a great rig ready for contesting, chasing DX or just plain rag chews. It is proven on CW, SSB and the digital modes.
I am a non-smoker and the previous owner was a non smoker. There are absolutely no signs or smells of smoking around this transceiver.
I have used this rig with N1MM logger for control and contesting as well as with MixW2 software for RTTY and PSK-31. All remote functions and logging work very well through both computer programs.
Output is as it should be. QSK is legendary TenTec. That means that it is great. All bands work.
Of course, the TenTec manual is included.

Shortwave Receiver - Sony ICF-6800W "Orange" |

I have a Sony ICF-6800W shortwave receiver for sale. This is the "Orange" model. More info available here (actual pictures available on request).
No problems with any switches* or controls, works 100%, nice hot receiver with good sounding audio. This is apparently a sought after receiver... I don't need it.
Cosmetic condition is 7 or 8 out of 10, some minor marks on the top.
*The "AFC" switch is missing but this has no adverse effect on the operation of the unit, as it's only for FM broadcast operation which still works flawlessly regardless.

I've had this radio for a few months and I just never use it. Has not been out of the house, is basically brand new, I would say it has less than 5 hours of time being powered up, and less than 40 minutes of talk time. Looks and works 10 out of 10.
Includes: radio, antenna, manual, box, aftermarket desktop charger, and your choice of a USED but well-working aftermarket NiMH battery or a new-in-box BP208 AA cell case. I use an F11 at one of the agencies I volunteer with, which uses the same batteries, so I would like to hang onto one or the other.

The rig is about 6 months old, I bought it new from my local HRO. I is a great radio, as you can see from the eHam reviews. It is too big for my shack, and I am downsizing to a smaller sized rig.
I cannot really say anything bad about it. It has more features than I had time to learn.
Includes original box, manuals, power cable (w/PowerPoles added), unused hand mic, and even the original brochure. Looks and works as new.

The ICOM IC-730 is a compact, easy to use HF radio covering 80 through 10 meters with 200 watts PEP input SSB/CW and 40 watts AM. Modes include SSB, CW and AM. Enhancements include: dual digital VFOs, and noise blanker. The advanced, quad conversion receiver section includes selectable AGC and a preamp.(preamp not working, but regular receive is fine. I never had any problems hearing anyone!) You get one memory per band. Frequency coverage is: 3.5-4, 7-7.3, 10-10.5, 14-14.35, 18-18.5, 21-21.45, 24.5-25 and 28-29.7 MHz. There is a built-in speaker in the top panel. The rear panel features an SO-239 antenna jack, speaker jack, 1/4 inch key jack and accessory port. An access door on the top panel allows for additional radio settings and installation of optional EX-195. This radio requires 13.8 VDC at 20 amps.

CMOS Super Memory Keyer. Original article was in QST, 1990, Page 18.
Entire keyer is built around a single chip, Motorola 68HC705C8. Some of the features: iambic keyer with dot and dash memories; (4) 48 character messages; character and real time messages; message loop capability for continuous play; message break in to allow for paddle inserted text; contest serial numbering 000-9999; digital and linear analog speed control 6-60 wpm; built in sidetone 700hz oscillator; tune function; and much more.
It's constructed in a plastic and alumninum mini-box with speaker and four push buttons switches for the memories and one mini toggle switch for tune.

I am the original non-smoking owner of this Kenwood 950SDX radio with a s/n 40700122. It is in unaltered original condition and contains the following filters, in addition to its standard 2.7kHz SSB filter: 1.8kHz, 500Hz, and 250Hz. The Operator's and Service manuals are included as well as a Shure 444D mic and an outboard, self-contained noise canceler. The radio will be shipped in the original factory container. The cabinet is a 9.5/10 with no dings. The radio has three problems. The -12dB attenuator setting does not function, the receiver starts silent for up to 10 seconds, with the S-Meter at full scale and then resumes normal operation. This will not repeat after an immediate second start. After 10 minutes or less, the problem will generally recur. The mic connector is noisy at times and this can be heard in the monitor . All other transmit functions are normal with the specified 150W output. If you are a competent repair person, this will be a rewarding purchase of this high-quality radio. The price is $1485.00 plus shipping from ZIP 92835.
