Power supply used with Collins KWM2A Heath HW-Series Tube Sets |

HV Power supply used with the 100 watt Collins KWM2A and Heath HW-Series Tube Transceivers.
Built with the old Heavy duty Mil. Transformers, chokes and capacitors with solid state rectifiers. Supplied the 750+V, 250V and minus Bias voltages together with filament voltages. Parts alone are worth it. T1 is a 600Vct 150Ma wt. 5V 2A & 6.3Vct 2A winding. Choke 1 is a 6-8H 170Ma and choke 2 is a 15H 150Ma. Has another choke like 1 not connected. Don't know the HV transformer current value but it is 1710Vct putting out 900V no load. A separate 12V Filament Transformer is used for the transceiver. Last used with a KWM2A loaned to a friend. Originally made for my Heath HW-12A & 32A. Can be adapted to any Radio needing those voltages. I can send pictures if you email me your address. $99 |

A&A Engineering QRP CW Transceiver (Tech Special)- $50 + ship obo
This is a CW Transceiver, setup for either 30m or 20m, I can't remember which. It powers on but won't transmit, all I hear is dead air when it transmits. I don't know what is wrong with it. I have the article/instructions for building it.

I got this at a hamfest for $40 works great, I think I have the instructions somewhere. It looks brand new, the previous owner took very good care of it. $25 plus shipping gets it.
Samlex SEC 1212 Switching Power Supply - $75 + ship obo
Never used, brand new. Got it thinking I would use it with the mobile rig and never did. 10Amps @ 13.8V. Took it out of the box to verify operation and put it back. Manual included (not that youd need one)
2 Lengths of Belden Shielded CAT5E - $40 + ship obo
My roommates used to install cell sites, they often brought home chunks of this stuff. Shielded twisted pair CAT5E. We had these two runs in the house. I moved and don't need them anymore (everything is wireless). Probably 30+ ft each, looking for $40 + ship obo.
Diawa Antenna switch - $20 + ship obo

I have a Yaesu Ft-840 with a Timewave 9+ and a Sure 444 desk mic.
Ft-840 does 100w. Along with this set up is the manuel for the 840 and the Timewave and the original hand mic for the 840, I do not have the box for the 840. This rig has never been mobile. For sale is an Icom 706 original HF/6/2 meter. This was never used and all in original packing! I took everything out to try it out and it has about 1 hr of use. This is in mint cindition and comes with the seperation kit.

These twins were recently realigned, and made fully operational, by Jeff Covelli, WA8SAJ, and will include a Vanco MEC-380 Dynamic Microphone, with flexible boom, the transceive cable, the receive antenna interconnect cable and all 4 W7FG reproduction manuals (operator and service manuals for each twin-with receipt for the $96 they cost me), and the statement from Jeff, showing what work he did to them and the results of his labor. The radios are in fair, to good, condition, maybe better. Nothing broken or damaged, as far as I can tell. The "pull pins" for the cover on the T-599 are missing, but likely available, somewhere. There are scratches on the top of them, as would be expected for radios of their age, but the faces are in very good to excellent condition. New 6146W finals were put in BEFORE Jeff went through them, so they are correctly adjusted for the proper bias, for 6146W's. Within a week of getting them back from Jeff, I started a new job, driving truck, from the west coast, to the upper midwest, and back. I now have need for other, more appropriate equipment, for use in the mobile, and this is another redundant radio. (I have 2 sets of Drake twins, also, but neither will be up for sale. One is a family heirloom, the other is my every day base radio, when I am home, anyway.)
Price is $425 (shipping included, if needed-see below). I paid Jeff $300 to put his skills into them, and had more than $275 into the non working radio purchase, plus the $96 cost of the NEW W7FG manuals. I am looking specifically to sell, but would consider a High Sierra 1800 (please no Sidekicks), or Scorpion 680/6160, screwdriver antenna, if you want to trade.
If you live west of the imaginary line from Milwaukee, WI, to Houston, TX, I could arrange to bring them to you (or somewhere close), if you're not in a hurry to get them, and are near a route our company drives. I could likely get a load that would take me through your area, or close, and you would be able to see them "hands on" before forking over your hard earned cash.
I will leave this ad up for a week, or so, then off to the Big E, for sale there, if they do not sell, here.

| Kenwood TS690SAT, One owner non smoking environment. I bought this radio new in June 1993 and it has always worked perfect. Some CW, but mostly SSB. It has had the Mars mod done, has the 500 HZ CW filter, auto tuner, original hand mike, power cable, and manual. Also SP 23 Kenwood speaker. I do not have the box that came with the radio.If you are interested in an on air demonstration we can arrange to do that. I only have 100 watts output and a G5RV so keep that in mind.
